Personal Assistant

Location: North Atlanta Area / Ball Ground, GA

Reports to:  President/Founder

The Personal Assistant supports the daily activities of the President/Founder of Foodmate US, Inc.   Due to the nature of this position the personal assistant must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.  The assistant is responsible for keeping the president organized in all areas.  The assistance will organize and manage all incoming and outgoing emails. The assistant is responsible for managing all the daily correspondence of the president, taking phone calls, making appointments, making travel arrangements, answering correspondence.  The assistant is responsible for managing all the daily work of the president and ensure it is completed on time.  The assistant briefs the President before every meeting regarding the agenda of the meeting.  They collect all the daily reports for the President to read.  If the President is unable to attend a meeting, the personal assistant can attend the meeting on their behalf, taking down the minutes of the meeting.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Organize and manage all incoming and outgoing emails.
  • Managing the President’s calendar, scheduling appointments, interviews and meetings.
  • Answering calls and liaising with clients competently.
  • Replies to all correspondence that for the President in a timely manner.
  • Manages all the appointments the President has to attend throughout the day and makes certain they attend them.
  • Briefs the President on the agenda before every meeting.
  • Collects all reports on behalf of the President.
  • Coordinates on behalf of the President with the other departments.
  • Generates a daily schedule for the President before they arrive in the office.
  • Keeps track of employee birthdays for the President.
  • Acts as a bridge between the President, management and employees.
  • Assist the President during meetings.
  • Attending meeting if the president is absent.
  • Coordinating travel and hotel arrangements for the President.
  • Running personal errands for the President if required.
  • Coordinating travel and hotel arrangements and preparing complex travel itineraries.
  • Planning and organizing events.
  • Managing Projects.
  • Sourcing and ordering stationary and office equipment.

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and exceptional typing skills. Writing emails, transcribing notes, faxing, copying, and creating spreadsheets or printing documents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Interpersonal skills are important, as interaction with a wide variety of people either in person, over the phone or via email, forms a part of daily activities.
  • Must possess a professional attitude and superior organization and time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks within a deadline.
  • Excellent language and grammar skills.
  • Ability to efficiently schedule for your time and President’s time.
  • Educational Level: College degree required

IT Specialist

Location: North Atlanta Area / Ball Ground, GA

The I.T. Specialist is primarily responsible for working with the entire office support staff and remote users to support all mobile, desktop, and enterprise applications. This role will also be responsible for supporting SAP B1 users and functionality including report and query writing.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support for all desktop, mobile and Enterprise applications

• Identifying, recommending and implementing proper network security for Enterprise systems and end users

• Deployment of new applications and updates to applications

• Support for email and email policies via Gmail

• Managing firewall and firewall settings

• Management of wired and wireless network

• Hardware support – Printers, scanners, plotters, etc.

• IT Asset management of all laptops, mobile devices, network components

• Recommend and implement new technology

• SQL query support for SAP

• Report design and writing for SAP on Crystal Report platform

• Support and deploy Office 365 for enterprise

• Work with IT partners to solve daily and enterprise issues

Sales Engineer

Location: North Atlanta Area / Ball Ground, GA

Objetive:

Assist and implement all sales engineering strategies of the Foodmate organization. Develop customer equipment layouts, integrated machinery concepts, various designs essential for equipment sales. Help create and maintain opportunities and equipment proposals in SAP Business One. Travel to customer facilities to collect data for equipment opportunities or projects.

Key Activities:

  • Develop customer equipment layouts and integrated machinery concepts using AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with salesman, customers and vendors to facilitate sales engineering efforts.
  • Engineering Communications including SAP Business One, phone, email, and presentations.
  • Create equipment quotes in SAP B1.
  • Help create and/or maintain equipment opportunities in SAP B1.
  • Convert capital equipment quotes to sales orders in SAP B1.
  • Develop cost analysis excel worksheets from quotes, orders and item master data.
  • Develop payback analysis worksheets to support sales process.
  • Hand off capital equipment sales orders to Projects and Purchasing.

Structural Activities:

  • Autodesk software administration, purchasing, installation and support.
    • AutoCAD/LT/Factory Design Suite/DWG TrueView.
  • Solidworks software administration, purchasing, installation and support.
    • Solidworks, Enterprise PDM, eViewer.
  • Coordinate with FMNL factory on machine, assembly and part 2D and 3D data.
  • Supply parts sales with parts drawings as required.
  • Supply Marketing with engineering data as required.

General Duties:

  • Take initiative to propose improvements of sales engineering processes or procedures.
  • Help keep the office organized and neat.
  • Be supportive and proactive member of the Foodmate Team.
  • Provide hospitality to customers and visitors.

Education and Qualifications:

  • A.S. Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Meat/Poultry industry experience.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical principles.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, with intermediate or better skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS-Office Suite, with intermediate or better Excel skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and their engineering applications.
  • Ability to work individually and handle self-driven projects efficiently.
  • Conversant with business procedures, customer service and correspondence.
  • Time management, fixing priorities, organizational skills, attentiveness, accuracy in performance.
  • Effective presentation of information and strong spoken language skills for responding to managers, customers, and the general public.

Electrical Technician

Reports to:  Service Manager

Objective:

The electrical technician assembles, installs, tests and troubleshoots electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and components using hand tools and power tools in a safe manner.  They will be expected to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to determine issues and implement/suggest solutions.  This role will inspect electrical equipment and identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustments or repairs and ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations and site specific operating procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, repairing, and installing equipment and electrical controls used in the food/poultry processing industry.
  • Operates any equipment needed to safely perform job including proper lock out tag out (LOTO)
  • Repair and replace electrical motors, HMIs, PLCs, VFDs and other components used in Foodmate specific equipment control systems
  • Must be willing to learn specific systems and component functions used on Foodmate equipment to troubleshoot and repair as needed
  • Train and assist Foodmate technicians on setting up and weighing and vision system so they can go into the field and support the equipment

Qualifications:

  • Education
    • Industrial electrician certificate or verifiable experience.
    • Familiarity with Siemens Simatic Step 7 software desirable

Working conditions: This job will require about 90% travel and may include non-traditional work hours.  Some facilities will require help on 2nd and 3rd shifts.  The working conditions are normally within a poultry processing facility which can be cold or hot and a damp environment.  This position will require the use of personal protection devises (ear plugs, hard hat, and eye protection).  When not travel, work will be completed from hotels, home, and/or office.

 Physical requirements: This position will require extensive travel by car.

SE I - Service Engineer I

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience installing, repairing and maintaining technical advanced/electrical pneumatic/PLC/software controlled industrial machines and systems.
  • A 2-year Technical Degree or comparable experience level.

  • A 2-year Technical Degree or comparable experience level.
