Kenneth Van Der Zalm has joined Foodmate US as its new Director of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition.

Van Der Zalm will focus on recruiting and hiring new team members as needed. He also will work to further optimize Foodmate’s human resources efforts, including employee development, employee relations, employee retention, as well as establishing a solid pipeline of future new talent.
Prior to joining Foodmate, Van Der Zalm served as a Director of International Recruitment & Executive Search at YER-USA, Inc., an internationally retained recruiting firm. At YER-USA, Van Der Zalm was responsible for the recruitment of professionals and executives for international companies, mostly European-based with needs in North America. His emphasis was recruiting engineering, sales and service professionals. Prior to that, he worked at Randstad Netherlands and Randstad USA for 13 years.
Van Der Zalm has lived in the U.S. since 2005. He and his wife, Sheryl, have four children, Dannie, Ezra, Sammy, and Addison.
